Vilniaus Kolegija

Agnieška Avin is a social anthropologist engaged in both practical and academic activities. She has got her MA degree in Social Anthropology from Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas). Currently she is pursuing her PhD degree in Sociology at the Lithuanian Center for Social Science (Vilnius). Agnieška is working in Vilniaus kolegija (VIKO) and a non-governmental organisation “Help to Fit”. Her expertise is social inclusion, non- formal education and minority rights. She serves as an expert in the Roma integrations strategies both on municipal and national levels. Agnieška has a long-term experience in organizing trainings for teachers on multicultural education, critical thinking and non-formal education methods. Her main interests are learning new languages, ethnography, documentary films and sports.
