Teacher Toolkit (TTK)

What is in it?

The Teacher Toolkit is a collection of exercises, techniques, strategies, and processes designed to enhance a teacher’s ability to respond effectively to various challenges. These tools focus on personal growth, professional development, and fostering constructive interactions. By practicing and mastering these tools, educators can develop adaptive skills and behaviors that not only enhance their teaching but also align with their unique goals and values, validating their individuality and respect for their profession.

The Teacher Toolkit (TTK) is a collection of instruments for teachers, representing a supportive set of tools, resources, and activities for learning, practicing, and applying relevant competences for sustainable communication in their professional practices.

The TTK’s tools complement and “mirror” the Teacher Trainer Manual (in terms of the modules’ key concepts and learning objectives and outcomes). The tools promote and support the practice and improvement of the competences relevant for sustainable communication, through self-reflection, introspection, and systematic practice.

Development and testing

The consortium has created 15 tools for the Teacher Toolkit grade A. The toolkit was tested in September, October and November 2024 by 70 teachers from the Communities of Practice. Feedback on this toolkit has been discussed during the physical meeting in Vilnius in December 2024.

As a next step, the Teacher Toolkit grade B was also developed by the consortium. This part of the Toolkit is being tested in January, February and March 2025. Feedback will be discussed by the end of March 2025.

In a final phase, the tools from the Teacher Toolkit grade C will be developed in March 2025. Feedback on tools from grade A and B will be taken into account during development.

The toolkit will be published here by May 2025.
