AlmadaForma – Maria de Fátima de Sousa Pires

Maria de Fátima de Sousa Pires began her teaching career after completing the Primary Teaching Course. After that she concluded a Master’s degree in Special Education, in specialization area of Cognition Problems and Multideficiency. 

She is a teacher trainer in the fields of special education and inclusion in education, school administration and learning assessment. Since the 2018-2019, she has been assessor  for Autonomy and Curricular Flexibility at the Teachers Training Centre of Almada Municipality – AlmadaForma supporting schools and teachers.  She has an important experience as trainer in in-service teacher training courses and workhops.  She is member of  the Portuguese Ministry of Education Coordinator Team of the Projet MAIA (Pedagogical Assessment Monitoring and Research Project ).
