Burak Ulman has 22 years of full time academic expertise on political science in different universities; 15 years of NGO work as founder, board member and volunteer; 10 years of trainer, mentor and facilitator using different approaches such as NVC, Sociocracy, Lewis Method of Deep Democracy, and many others. Ashoka Fellow since 2016.    Burak Ulman holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Bosphorus University, Istanbul; a master’s degree in Political Sciences, Marmara University, Istanbul; and a D.Phil in Political Economy, Sussex University, Brighton.
