Eekhout Academy – Christophe Vandenberghe

Christophe Vandenberghe (°1981, Belgium) is a B.A. Educational IT Sciences with a  Teacher Qualification. He’s also a Qualified UK Teacher (QTS). Christophe started his career in 2003 as a teacher Computer Sciences in a primary school. From 2004 onwards, Christophe was active in an upper vocational school. He’s been a student counsellor for two years until 2006. Since then, Christophe has been active as a teacher of Computer Sciences, Mathematics and English and acted as a Head of Year. 
Currently he’s studying a Master of Science degree in Learning Education at the Open University (Netherlands) with focus on continuing professional development.  
  
Christophe has international experience and was a teacher in London for 3 years, from 2010 to 2013. He taught mathematics in public and private school and specialised himself over there in ICT applications, online learning and educational innovation.  
  
Besides that he was also active in various international projects (KA2) since 2008 where he operated as a project manager.  
  
Since 2020, Christophe now is the international senior officer for Eekhout Academy. He’s the course director for various international courses and he coordinates a consortium in the field of School Education (KA1) with 71 schools involved.
