Teacher Trainer Manual (TTM)
What’s in it?
The teacher trainer manual provides the training materials for the five module. This is an instrument that will be used by teacher trainers in order to train sustainable communication skills for teachers in initial teacher training and continuous professional development.
Part of the teacher training manual focuses on using digital tools to support the skill training in sustainable communication. This is supported by the beneficiary ES RM.
The teacher trainer manual consists of a global part with introduction (summary of the project, relevance, quality assurance, curricular specification, didactic guidelines and link with the teacher toolkit) and a specific focus per module and grade (Objectives and expected learning outcomes, key concepts and references and assessment). Next to this this every module has extended activities for each grade with a consistent coherent structure (objective, learning outcome, time in total, description + earning method, reflection task).
Development and testing
The development of the TTM happened in various testing cycles. The feedback on the TTM grade A and extended activities has been tested in Spring 2024 in a physical meeting in Valencia by 19 teacher trainers from the teacher board. Next to this physical testing, some extended activities have been tested in Autumn by European and national teacher board teachers through meetings. The testing of TTM grade B was carried out in Autumn 2025. Grade C piloting happened in February 2026.
The final TTM can be consulted here:
