Universitatea Babes Bolyai – Ruxandra-Georgiana Filip

Ruxandra-Georgiana Filip is a dedicated teacher with 10 years of experience, currently teaching 4th grade. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and in Primary and Preschool Teaching, a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Psychopedagogical Assistance, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the doctoral school “Education, Reflection, Development”, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. Her research focuses on the impact of animal-assisted education in primary school education, reflecting her passion for animals and fostering positive human-animal interactions.
Throughout her career, Ruxandra has worked in both primary and kindergarten education and served as a support teacher, supporting primary school children with learning difficulties. She is deeply committed to the development of her students and has a strong interest in promoting inclusive, engaging, and innovative learning environments. She also founded the school choir, fostering creativity and teamwork among students.
In addition to her teaching, Ruxandra is an associate teacher at Babes Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where she contributes to the training of future educators. Additionally, she is passionate about research and statistics, using data to support her teaching methods and academic work.
