As a BA in Psychology, MEd in Special Education, and Ph.D. in Psychology, he teaches pre-service and in-service teachers for preschool, primary and secondary levels in mainstream and special education, in initial and continuous specialization programs. He is co-founder of the University Clinic for Therapies and Psycho-pedagogic Counseling. 

Dr. Predescu Mihai is a certified principal psychologist and supervisor in Special Education and a Senior LSCI (Life Space Crisis Intervention) trainer.  

The principal competencies and fields of his professional, academic, and scientific interests and activity are in the educational and therapeutic approach of children with disabilities, special education, adult education, disability studies, trauma, resilience, and wellbeing. He authored and co-authored several books and articles on these topics. He has developed and conducted post-graduating programs and training for further specialization of teachers and specialists in the educational field and parents.
