VIVES – Els Callens
Els Callens has been a teacher trainer and project manager in the VIVES teacher training programme for elementary education since 1993. She is a master in Educational Sciences, Special Educational Needs and Theology and followed the teacher training at KU Leuven, Belgium. She was international coordinator in education for VIVES for 15 years and partner and/or coordinator in several Erasmus+, Interreg and intercontinental projects with focus on inclusion, equity and communication. She takes part in curriculum design on communication and is specialized in the topics on inclusion, communication, children in interaction, dialogue and ethos. She is also coaching students in their life- and learning traject with focus on connectedness with themselves and others.
She is the co-coordinator of this project TASC in VIVES.
